Are you considering working in a zoological facility? Do you want to learn more about careers in the areas of Animal Care, Education, or Veterinary Medicine within a zoo setting?
If you answered YES, then plan on attending one of the High School Career Day events at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
Explore the professional fields of animal care, veterinary medicine, education and more. Get-Close opportunities with small animals, access to Zoo staff and behind-the-scenes tours of animal exhibits are just a few of the activities that make Career Day at the Zoo a wild experience! Together, we will take a closer look at these careers and get a behind the scenes view of the real work that is being done.

How to Register
- If you are currently a high school student, register via the link below for Career Day.
- Registration fee includes access to highly trained Zoo staff, behind-the-scenes tours of exhibit areas, Get-Close animal encounters and a boxed lunch. Fee: $45/member and $50/non-member.
- Get a TB test after you register and complete a Medical Waiver and mail them to: Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Education Division, 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, Ohio 44109
