Bats face a number of conservation challenges, including habitat loss, disease and human disturbance.

The Cleveland Zoological Society and Cleveland Metroparks Zoo support bat research and conservation efforts worldwide to help address these issues.

WHAT YOU CAN DO: Recycle your aluminum cans at the Zoo's America Recycles Day Event November 10. Celebrate Year of the Bat! Can collection funds will benefit Bat Conservation International to help conserve bats around the globe.
