William J. Klotzbach

Cleveland Metroparks gratefully acknowledges The Klotzbach Family for its support of Branching Out. This gift supports reforestation in Cleveland Metroparks now and in the future.

In appreciation of the Klotzbach Family's support of Branching Out, Cleveland Metroparks planted a pin oak tree near the entrance of the Cottonwood Picnic area in Rocky River Reservation in memory of William ("Bill") James Klotzbach who passed away in March 2011. Bill's five children planted the tree near their father’s boyhood home. Although Bill moved away from the area later in life, he shared his memories of growing up near Rocky River Reservation with his children. Just as Bill loved and supported his family, this tree will support the community Bill called home for so many years and, hopefully, help bring joy to the people that use Cleveland Metroparks every day.
