Busy "B's" Tent - Fun hands-on games and activities teaching the importance of Bats, Bees and Butterflies - all beneficial pollinators.
Butterfly Tent - Get up-close to live butterflies.
Ultra Bee Vision - Walk through a "dark" maze illuminated by ultraviolet LED lights and discover how bees and insects see flowers differently than humans. These pollinators can see ultraviolet light, invisible to humans, which reveals colors and patterns in flowers visible only to these insects.
Flower Academy - Piece apart a real flower and discover pollen's sticky secret.
Seeds of Change - Make a clay, native wildflower seed ball and take it home for your garden, or "launch" it into the meadow located uphill from the Center. See what blooms next spring.
Meadow Bioblitz and Wetland Bioblitz -Try insect netting or pond dipping and see what you catch. Local experts will be on hand to help identify what's inside the nets.
Nature Songs and Stories - Enjoy live music and sing along with Cleveland Metroparks historical interpreter, Foster Brown, from noon - 1 p.m.
Native Plant Sale - Buy plants to add to your garden or flowerbeds in the fall and enjoy them in the spring.
Live Music by the Chardon Polka Band - performing throughout the day. Enjoy traditional music as well as polka with an attitude.
Wagon Ride Tours, every half hour. Take a guided tour around West Creek Reservation.
