2017 will be a monumental year for Cleveland Metroparks and Northeast Ohio. Why you ask? Cleveland Metroparks will be celebrating their 100th Anniversary. We are diligently preparing for this grand year-long affair and we need your help! We know that thousands of you have created wonderful memories in the park system for generations, and now we want to hear all about it.
Our oral history team is seeking individuals, couples and families who would be willing to sit down with us at a special event or an arranged interview to collect your heartwarming, funny, embarrassing, and or silly stories passed down amongst family or friends that have taken place in Cleveland Metroparks. We are eager to hear your stories about picnicking, attending a camp, swimming, golfing, horseback riding or whatever your unique experience might have been. Photos would put icing on the cake!
If you are interested, call Historical Interpreter Foster Brown at 440-786-8530 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will also accept walk-ups if time slots are available.
