The Cleveland Metroparks volunteer program follows the guidelines set forth in the Volunteer Services Handbook. A copy of the Handbook is available at each volunteer location for use by staff and volunteers. In addition, each volunteer receives a condensed version of the handbook during the required volunteer orientation.
The Volunteer Services Handbook also lists the cumulative hour recognition program milestones. All volunteers with 15 or more cumulative volunteer hours are eligible to attend any offered district-wide volunteer recognition event or continuing education opportunity.
