Construction Update, Part 1
As Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's African Elephant Crossing takes shape before your eyes, we will take you behind the scenes to meet some of the people responsible for its creation and give you a glimpse of what it takes to build a world-class exhibit. In this first construction update, you'll learn about some external features in the exhibit's "Savanna Range" — huge mud-bank planters, an outdoor aviary and the north elephant pool.
