Herd animals, so need company of ”other” animals. Can withstand cold temperatures as long as they have shelter and are fed properly.

Single baby, 20 – 30 lbs at birth. Foals up and nursing within 30 minutes. Weaned between 5 – 6 mo

Description:
Weigh 200 – 350 lbs at maturity. Height is 24 – 34 inches at the withers.
Did You Know?
Hardy and healthy, they require preventative vaccination and should be wormed regularly. They need to have their hooves trimmed every 2 – 3 months. Males are call “jacks” and females are called “jennets.”
