Cleveland Metroparks Zoo works to ensure the health and well-being of the animals in our care as well as to support the conservation of these animals in the wild.

The Zoo confronts conservation challenges around the world through direct action - participating in and supporting wildlife conservation efforts that address the multiple and complex issues that are key to the long-term survival of wildlife and their habitats in the wild.

Over the past ten years, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and the Cleveland Zoological Society have supported more than 600 conservation projects in nearly 100 countries around the world. Learn more about our international wildlife conservation efforts here.
