Kids, ages 5-12, can join the Zoo for a week of Summer Day Camp. The program encourages respect and stewardship of the natural world and provides a better understanding of our place within it. Children are grouped according to age to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment. Campers will tour exhibits, encounter small education animals (birds, rabbits, etc.), create arts and crafts, meet zookeepers, participate in cultural activities (African drum circle, storytelling, etc.), play games and learn a lot about the living world around them. |

We offer two different camps on alternating weeks, so kids can spend more than one session at Summer Day Camp. Choose either Camp A or Camp B to enjoy half of the zoo -- or take both in any order for two full weeks of fun!
Camp A will visit Africa, Northern Trek, and the RainForest. Camp B will take your camper to Primate, Cat & Aquatics, The RainForest and Australian Adventure. Both camps will visit seasonal exhibits.
Campers must be 5 years old by June 15, 2009 in order to participate. Younger children may register for Adventure Series at the Zoo.
Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
