Zoo member registration will begin on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 8:30 am.
Non-member registration will begin on Monday, March 17 at 8:30 am.
Be sure to register early - sessions close out quickly!

Kids, ages 5-12, can join the Zoo for a week of Summer Day Camp. The program encourages respect and stewardship of the natural world and provides a better understanding of our place within it. Children are grouped according to age to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment. Campers will tour exhibits, encounter small education animals (birds, rabbits, etc.), create arts and crafts, participate in cultural activities (African drum circle, storytelling, etc.) and play games and nature activities that reinforce concepts taught that day. |

We offer two different camps on alternating weeks, so kids can spend more than one session at Summer Day Camp. Choose either Camp A or Camp B to enjoy half of the zoo -- or take both in any order for two full weeks of fun!
Camp A will visit Primate, Cat & Aquatics, the RainForest and Australian Adventure. Camp B will take your camper to Northern Trek, the RainForest and Africa.
Campers must be 5 years old by June 9, 2008 in order to participate. Younger children may register for Adventure Series at the Zoo.
Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
Camp Costs:
- Zoo Members: $155 full day
or $105 half day
- Non-members: $180 full day
or $125 half day
- Before care (available from 7:30 a.m.): $25/week
- After care (available until 6 p.m.): $25/week
