African Music and Dance

Dance with African dancers, and keep the beat with professional African drummers weekends, Memorial Day through Labor Day at Rising Waters Safari Camp in the Zoo's African Savanna Exhibit.

African Art Workshop

Spend time with the Zoo's resident African artist as you and your family try your hands at creating two authentic African crafts. This program is for familes and children ages 6 and up. Participating children must be accompanied by an adult.

Dates:

• Friday August 12th, 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• Saturday, August 13th, 2 - 4:30 p.m.

Cost:

• Member rate: $10/child
• Non-member rate: $12/child
• Accompanying adults are FREE.
