School Year Bus Registration

Zoo Bus is FREE, see below for group zoo admission rates
Zoo Bus is available to schools in Cuyahoga County or Hinckley Township only.
During the school year (September through May), the Zoo Bus is available to K-12 only.
Zoo admission is free for school groups during the regular school year.
Groups must include a minimum of 30 riders and a maximum of 60 riders.
Zoo Bus riders must be at least 4 years old.
Connections to Africa is held in African Elephant Crossing for students in grades 1 through 3 on Monday through Friday.
Veterinary Bags are available in the Sarah Allison Steffee Center for Zoological Medicine for students in grades 4 through 6.

New This Year: School Travel Voucher

Can't afford transportation to the Zoo for your field trip? Zoo Bus not available on the day you'd like to visit the Zoo? Cleveland Metroparks Zoo makes your field trip more affordable with travel vouchers up to $250.00 for transportation. Eligibility is limited to schools that have at least 30 percent of their students participating in the federally-funded free and reduced-lunch program. A limited number of vouchers are available, so call 216-635-3391 today for additional information and application.

Zoo Bus for the school year is available for registration online on August 1 for users with an established username and password with this new system. We have switched to a new ticketing and registration system. You may notice a few differences as you register for programs. Please verify your username or password by contacting the Education Registration Office at 216-635-3391. You will need to know the name and address of your school when setting up your online access. You will be unable to register for this program without a valid username and password.

The Zoo Bus reservation is for transportaion and admission only. Groups wishing to attend an educational program during your visit must pre-register. These programs are on a first come, first served basis. Programs are available for grades 1-3 (Connections to Africa) and grades 4-6 (Vet Bags).

Summer Bus Registration

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on April 15, 2013

June 1 to September 1
Registration for the Zoo Bus is extended to day camps, senior centers, and other groups.

There is a $10 non-refundable fee to book the Zoo Bus from June 1 – September 1. Zoo admission is not included. For more information on group rates: www.clemetzoo.com/visit/groupvisits.asp

Chaperones must ride bus with children and groups must have at least one adult for every 10 children.
Registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis.
Zoo Admission fees apply to all groups. Tickets must be purchased two weeks in advance to qualify for discounted rates.
