School Year Bus Registration

• Zoo Bus is FREE
• Zoo Bus is available to schools in Cuyahoga County or Hinckley Township only.
• During the school year (October through May), the bus is available to K-12.
• Zoo admission is free for school groups during the regular school year.
• Groups must include a minimum of 30 riders and a maximum of 60 riders.
• Connections to Africa is held in African Elephant Crossing for students in grades 1 through 3 on Monday through Friday.
• Veterinary Bags are available in the Sarah Allison Steffee Center for Zoological Medicine for students in grades 4 through 6.
• Groups registering for the bus must attend one of our programs as selected during the registration process based on the appropriate grade level. Declining the program will forfeit your Zoo Bus registration. If your grade level changes after your initial registration, please contact our office immediately at 216-635-3391. We will do our best to accommodate these changes. However, if there is not a program available for the new grade on your original date we may have to reschedule or cancel that reservation.

We have switched to a new ticketing and registration system. You may notice a few differences as you register for programs. Zoo Bus for the School Year is available for registration online on August 1 for users with an established username and password with this new system. If you do not have a username or password please contact the Education Registration Office at 216-635-3391 to set one up. You will need to know the name and address of your school when setting up your online access. You will be unable to register for this program without a valid username and password.

Summer Bus Registration

Day camps, senior centers, and other groups may register for the summer bus (June - September).

• Zoo Bus is FREE, see below for group zoo admission rates
• Zoo Bus is available to groups in Cuyahoga County or Hinckley Township only.
• Groups are limited to two trips, with only one trip per month.
• Groups must include a minimum of 30 riders and a maximum of 60 riders.
• Chaperones must ride bus with children and groups must have at least one adult for every 10 children.
• Registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis.
• Zoo Admission fees apply to all groups. Tickets must be purchased two weeks in advance to qualify for discounted rates.
