Career Day

Participate in Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's Career Day and explore the professional fields of animal care, veterinary medicine, education and more. Get-Close opportunities with small animals, access to Zoo staff and behind-the-scenes tours of animal exhibits are just a few of the activities that make Career Day at the Zoo a wild experience!

Zoo Crew

Zoo Crew teen volunteers assist in the Education Division by actively participating in various conservation projects and interpreting. The program focuses on conservation and encourages teens to learn responsibility, develop job and career skills and grow in their personal conservation ethic.

Keeper for a Day

Are you a middle school, high school or college student thinking about a career with animals? Are you a working adult wondering what it would be like to have a career with animals? If so, the Keeper for a Day program at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is for you. Similar to a job shadowing program, participants will spend the day with animal professionals in the Zoo's Conservation Education Division for a one-of-a-kind experience.
