Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Events Home > Red, White & Zoo

Everyone's invited to celebrate Independence Day along with the red, white and blue creatures of Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Wear red, white and/or blue to the Zoo on July 5 and receive $2 off admission that day. (Discount limited to one per person and is valid only on July 5, 2010.)

The animal keepers will prepare red, white and blue treats for some of the Zoo's animals, including primates and bears. Other highlights include Get Close Animal Encounters and a self-guided tour of the Zoo's red, white and blue animals. (To name just a few: Red kangaroos, red pandas, white storks, blue poison dart frogs and blue-tongued skinks.)

Please note, because Monday, July 5, is the observed holiday, our regular "free admission day" for Cuyahoga County and Hinckley Twp has been moved to Tuesday, July 6.
