Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo
Request for Participation

Welcome and thank you for your interest in participating in Meet Your Best Friend at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. You may use this form to request exhibitor space at the 13th annual animal adoption event on Saturday, June 8, 2013.

Meet Your Best Friend takes place on the Zoo's Ticket Plaza outside the Zoo's main entrance. The Zoo provides exhibitors with one (1) 10 ft. x 10 ft. tent, one (1) table and two (2) chairs. Event publicity, table signage, water for the animals and trash receptacles are also provided.

Exhibitors are responsible for transportation of animals to and from Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and must adhere to the following policies:

• All animals must be in crates or cages
• Animals must remain in cages while on display unless held on a leash
• Animals may not be housed in vehicles
• Cats must be held on a harness or leash
• Animals must wear identification - paper collars are acceptable
• All dogs must be vaccinated for distemper, parvo and rabies (age appropriate) and heartworm tested
• All cats must be vaccinated for distemper and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV
• If an animal is not sterilized it must have a sterilization contract to ensure that it will be altered
• Each group will use its own adoption and sterilization forms
• Each group will set its own prices and collect its own monies
• Each group will provide its own office & cleaning supplies, food, dishes, and newspapers
• Each group must clean its own area, break down tables and chairs and place in the middle of the tent before leaving
• Groups must not sell retail items at Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo.

A nominal $75.00 fee is charged to all participating animal groups.

If you are interested in participating as an exhibitor and can adhere to the policies stated above, please complete this registration form no later than Friday, March 29, 2013. You will receive a confirmation via email that your request for participation has been received (confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide below).

Due to space limitations, completing this registration form DOES NOT guarantee you exhibitor space at Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo. You will receive an email after the registration deadline (Friday, March 29), if your organization is selected to participate.
