"Frogs, Hogs & Dogs" promises a hopping, snorting, singing good time for everyone this summer! Check out dozens of frogs and toads at new exhibits in The RainForest, Wolf Wilderness and Australian Adventure. Encounter a pair of wily red river hogs at the Pachyderm Building and a melodious pack of singing dogs taking up residence in Australian Adventure. So croak, squeal or sing your way to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for "Frogs, Hogs & Dogs" opening Thursday, May 22, 2008.

Learn the life-cycle of a frog at this three-day camp that gives children ages 7 - 11 a taste of 3 different languages: Japanese, Chinese and Spanish, with live, froggy fun for inspiration. Pre-registration and fee required. Runs June 10-12.

6/14/2008 9 - 10:30pm  Wetlands Serenade: Year of the Frog
Early summer is great time to listen for courting green frogs and bullfrogs serenading in the deeper wetlands and ponds. Many conservation organizations are drawing attention to the decline in worldwide frog populations by designating 2008 as the Year of the Frog. Park Ranger Paul Motts will explain some of the threats to these sensitive animals as you experience the summer frog choruses at a prime marsh monitoring site. Ira Trailhead, 9 - 10:30 p.m.
