The mission of Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is to improve the future
for wildlife by exhibiting animals and plants and providing
education and conservation programs which encourage respect
and stewardship of the natural world and a better understanding
of our place within it.
The Zoo is a living classroom offering programs for all ages
and interests, from overnight camps to college courses. Each
program targets a particular age group. Biofacts and/or live
animals provide an up close, "hands on" experience that will
be both enjoyable and long remembered. And, teacher resources
are available year round. For more information, call the Conservation
Education Division at (216) 635-3391.
