Cleveland Metroparks Zoo celebrates Mother’s Day with half-price admission

Every day is a great day to celebrate mom, but Mother’s Day at the Zoo is the only one that offers half-price admission!

On Sunday, May 13 all moms receive half-price admission to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on their special day, making tickets only $6.25.

Guests can make family memories with their mom and visit some of the Zoo’s animal moms like Inge the eastern black rhinoceros and Lindi the Masai giraffe. Event sponsor Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital will provide additional fun and activities.

Chocolate is great, and so are flowers, but they don’t last. On the other hand, your mom will keep that photo of you at the Zoo forever. (You can even get her a frame in the gift shop on your way home.)

Northeast Ohio’s most-visited year-round attraction, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $12.25 per person, $8.25 for kids ages 2 to 11 and free for children younger than 2 and Zoo members. Parking is free. Located at 3900 Wildlife Way, the Zoo is easily accessible from Interstates 71, 90 and 480.
