Gorilla Conservation: Supporting People — Protecting Wildlife

Quarters for Conservation

Location: Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda, Virunga National Park, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Noubale-Ndoke National Park, Congo

Funding for this project with the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International and Wildlife Conservation Society will support:

  • Professional development, training, and equipment for staff working on gorilla research and habitat protection projects in Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Republic of the Congo
  • Conservation education efforts in several local schools around the Nouabalé-Ndoki National Park through the work of "Club Ebobo" (Ebobo is the local name for gorilla)
