Conserving Species and Habitats in Our Own Backyard
 Location: Cleveland Metroparks, Northeastern Ohio, US
Funding for these collaborative projects with Cleveland Metroparks and the Lake Erie Allegheny Partnership for Biodiversity (LEAP) will support:
- A pilot collaborative, regional conservation project for the threatened spotted turtle working to study, protect and bolster shrinking populations
- Habitat and wildlife studies, including a pilot coyote tracking study and monitoring of local bat populations in Cleveland Metroparks to better understand their ecology and document rare species
