Where to Stay:
Planning an overnight stay? The Zoo partners with many fine Cleveland-area hotels to offer great overnight stays that include a pair of Zoo tickets and a discount at the Zoo's Main Gift Shop. Visit the Zoo's list of Preferred Hotels for more information.
Local Neighborhood:
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is located in Old Brooklyn, one of Cleveland's stable residential communities. Brooklyn Centre, with its quaint historic architecture, undergoes continuing commercial and residential investment. The area includes specialty shops, restaurants, and stores and is bordered on the northeast by a new shopping center, Steelyard Commons, which offers several larger retail outlets as well as smaller retail stores. Both Brooklyn Centre and Old Brooklyn are situated within the National Heritage Corridor surrounding the historic Ohio & Erie Canal. More resources on the local area will be available soon, so please check back.
Greater Cleveland Area:
Cleveland is located in the state of Ohio on the southern shore of Lake Erie and is part of the Great Lakes Region, the country's largest fresh water resource. The region extends 100 miles along the Lake Erie shoreline and more than 40 miles inland and is locally known as Cleveland+ or Northeast Ohio.
