What's in a Name? Name means "tyrant lizard king" because it was one of the largest and most powerful dinosaurs

Description: Perhaps the most formidable predator ever to roam the earth, this massive dinosaur had tiny arms with only two fingers but powerful hind limbs to produce speeds up to 25 mph.

Diet: Carnivore

Lived during: Late Cretaceous Period about 85 to 65 million years ago

Lived in: North America, East Asia
