What's in a Name? Name means "terrible claw" because of the large talon on the second toe of each foot. The claws were used to stab their prey and were held retracted while the dinosaur walked

Description: This biped, 3 meters long and 1 meter tall dinosaur weighed an average of 175 pounds. It had very powerful jaws with 60 curved, blade-like teeth and a long bony tail for balance and fast turning ability.

Diet: Carnivore

Lived during: Cretaceous Period about 110 to 100 million years ago

Lived in: North America
