What's in a Name?
Name comes from Quetzalcoati, an Aztec serpent god covered in feathers
Of all the flying creatures to exist, Quetzalcoatius was one of the largest. It weighed about 400 pounds with a wingspan of 10 or more meters. It was also toothless, with a very long, stiff neck and thought to have hunted in packs and scavenged for small prey.
