What's in a Name? Name comes from Quetzalcoati, an Aztec serpent god covered in feathers

Description: Of all the flying creatures to exist, Quetzalcoatius was one of the largest. It weighed about 400 pounds with a wingspan of 10 or more meters. It was also toothless, with a very long, stiff neck and thought to have hunted in packs and scavenged for small prey.

Diet: Carnivore

Lived during: Late Cretaceous Period

Lived in: North America
