I chronicled the growth, blooming, and eventual demise of the Zoo's magnificent titan arum plant named Cronus. It became a labor of love that I looked forward to daily. The Zoo's wonderful Horticulture staff worked hard to nurture this amazing flower, and I am grateful to them for keeping me informed on its progress. Cronus brought over 8000 visitors to The RainForest and, on the day he bloomed, generated more hits on our web site than any other day in Zoo history. Here's a look back.A Bloomin' Good Time
