Zoo Makes 'Best of Cleveland' List
Good news, Zoo fans: The readers of Cleveland Scene recently named Cleveland Metroparks Zoo as the "Best Place to Take Kids." Of course, we appreciate being so prominently featured in Scene's "Best of Cleveland 2008" poll, but we're hoping that next year we can move up in the rankings as the "Best Place to Take Anyone -- Regardless of Age." Wish us luck!
Zoo Crew Teens Helping Out in the Neighborhood

I recently heard that some of the Zoo Crew teen volunteers here at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo did a lot of work to help clean-and-green a Cleveland neighborhood. We asked Zoo Crew member Danny DiMarino, a sophomore at Holy Name High School in Parma Heights, to share his experience doing the "Naturehood" project with our Roar Report readers.
