The Green Wave: Zoo Crew Celebrates Biodiversity around the World

What is The Green Wave? It's a celebration of the International Day of Biodiversity (IDB). And because this year is the Year of Biodiversity, it makes The Green Wave even more special. The Green Wave was celebrated by the Zoo's teen volunteers, Zoo Crew, on May 22 and 23 with a tree planting and then a sharing of tree plantings around the world. Zoo Crew Teen Urges Support of Youth Accord on Biodiversity
