What do you do at the Zoo? I am a Marketing & Public Relations Specialist. I help produce many of the Zoo’s special events and assist with media relations.

What was the first Zoo job you ever had? Marketing & Public Relations Specialist

Favorite animal: Tough question, but I would say gorillas and elephants.

Favorite part of the Zoo: Waterfowl Lake

Why I work at the Zoo: Because I like working for an organization that serves a greater good. 

Best thing about living in Northeast Ohio (other than the Zoo, of course!): Change of seasons

A funny thing happened at the Zoo . . . when young kids watch the elephants go to the bathroom.  They squeal with disgust and delight.

One animal characteristic you wish you could have and why: I wish I were more of a herbivore and enjoyed vegetables.  I eat them, but I can’t say I enjoy them.
